Cyberslacking is a business cost. Can we curb it?
Last month, 57 million Americans visited social networking sites from a work computer, spending an average of 15 minutes on them per day. Perhaps more astonishing is that 20.6 million Americans also visited an adult site from a work computer an average of 8.1 times last month. What is to be done?
Twenty-five percent of homes have cut the landline cord
According to a new report, one of every four U.S. homes did not have a landline but did have at least one wireless telephone during the second half of 2009. This is a 1.8 percent increase over the first half of 2009 and a 4.3 percent increase over the last half of 2008.
